Monster thing from death note. Having watched the psychological battle between l and light and the beautiful poetic in my opinion ending i thought that no other anime would be as good as dn. Not the anime manga the movies. The thing that makes monster similar to death note is the unexpected events that happen.
There s nothing that bothers an aquarius more than being confined especially in a dull place with nothing going on and ryuk openly says that he dropped the death note because he was bored in his own realm. In the movie light is a scared idiot who has a girl use him for the death note l is a much better portrayal but he isn t witty or fun and he completely ovewhelms light with his intellect. Every episode excites you and makes you wonder what s going to happen next both of them have psychological points in them.
I came across monster when i was looking for animes that were similar to death note. He simply drops his death note in the human world and waits to see who picks it up. People will eventually die regardless of whether or not the shinigami pay attention to them but a shinigami can end their lives sooner than.
By watching these two anime you get the feeling that the mangakas really are geniuses having the ability to come up with such ideas. The playful curious and independent aquarius would have done the same thing. Shinigami in the manga and anime series death note are a race of extra dimensional beings who survive by killing humans to extend their own lives.
